Bellagio Casino and Fountains
This luxury hotel and casino gained recent fame in the early 2000s for its poker room, which was the site of several high-profile tournaments. Since then, the casino has attracted super high stakes action -- and plenty of touristy gawkers. The casino and hotel are expensive, the games are high stakes, and the Bellagio wants it that way. "But don't worry; Fodor's says, "There are games throughout the floor for the more average budget. Low-denomination slots are tucked in the back corners for low rollers (if you can find them) and excellent blackjack games are offered for mid- to high-level players."
Travelers on TripAdvisor laud the Bellagio's location on the center of the strip, but some travelers found the Bellagio was much larger and less luxurious than expected. One TripAdvisor traveler says, "When you tell people you're staying in the Bellagio they think luxury, glamour and glitz. However the Bellagio didn't quite live up to expectations for us … I feel the room could have done with an upgrade from its early 90s décor."
Even if you're not staying or playing here, it's worth stopping by to check out the Fine Art Gallery at Bellagio. And you should definitely make time for the renowned Bellagio fountain show, which dazzles spectators with lights, music and impressive waterworks.
